The Chillicothe Park District, with the support of local philanthropists Joe and Sis Boyer, is dedicated to restoring Coal Hollow Park’s 80 acres of wooded river bluff to its pre-European settlement state. The park offers just over 3 miles of walking trails that showcase the native flora and fauna of the Illinois river bluff.
